Ok, here's another cute thing Aubie said, but it's not really a quotable quote. Yesterday I was listening to my new favorite song (I only have the single, or it would be my new favorite cd), and if you would like to hear it, you can go to my (I'm ashamed to say it) MySpace page(click the link) and hear it, since it plays automatically. Awesome song!!! Aubie sings along with it every time we listen. Anyway, the song has a line in it that says, "My soul pants for God" and repeats it like 3 times. Well, Aubie is getting very good at picking out words in songs now, and she said, "Mommy, Pants!" I had to explain to her that "pants" in the song means the heavy breathing you do after you've been running and is very different from the "pants" we wear, and she understood. She loves that song, so I am glad that she now knows that it is not about articles of clothing : )Picture of Aubie taken a couple of weeks ago--the weird smile is because of her fear of the bees nearby.

she looks weird.
"untie" as in auntie, not the act of untying
Since we can not really know the songwriter's true meaning behind the line, I am going to play devil's advocate and say he meant "pants" as in "pants that we wear."
No, it doesn't make sense. But neither did "we all live in a yellow submarine."
Kevin, you are officially a nut.
Leah, are you Untie? I can't imagine Aunt KK saying that she looks weird ;)
It wasn't Aunt KK, but as you noted, Saigie, the smile certainly looks weird...and so funny... especially since you clued us into why! I can just see a dialogue bubble coming out of Aubie's head with all sorts of thoughts about the bees. Uncle Steve could certainly fill in some good ones!
*shakes head* Saige, Saige, Saige
How could you turn to the dark side? I had thought of you, Kev, and myself as kind of like a modern Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. "No, MySpace, we will not worship your idol nor bow down to it!"
I really like that "pants song" though.
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego... that cracked me up. Well, I really see no point in having a MySpace, except to listen to my cool song every now and then ;) and read the updates that people write. Really, it is so, as my cousin Nathan would say, "pop", that it goes against my don't-like-things-just-because-they're-popular self. Leah got rid of hers (for teacher reasons)... maybe I should do the same and regain my Abednego status.
