I remember reading once in school that American Indians used to not like having their picture taken because they believed the camera would steal their soul.
For some reason, the picture/story in your previous post reminded me of that story. By chance, is Aubie part Indian?
Yes, she is. But only like 1/32 or something. I'm 1/32 Cherokee, but she gets some from David as well, so I'm not sure exactly how that figures...
You know, I was thinking about that the whole time when she wouldn't get her picture taken too. I think the big umbrella-light things they use must look like soul-snatchers.

Actually no, but I'm hoping it comes today. I think mail leaves here fast (a letter to Rome only takes a day) but gets here slow (I always get my MS Living a day after Mom). So it should be here today.
I love love love your school picture. That will become a family heirloom! Honestly, the pitifulness of it just makes it superb!!! :)
